Students can often benefit from personal academic support

Our academic coaches work with students and parents to pinpoint the student’s learning style, study habits, academic and character  strengths, academic goals – and potential barriers to those goals.  

Together, they develop a plan to reach the student’s academic goals. Throughout the coaching process, the academic coach will also endeavour to enhance the student’s problem solving, planning, team-work and time management skills.

The extent and nature of coaching depends on the student’s individual needs. While some students require full support – from long-term planning to weekly revision schedule structuring – others may need support with a specific or short-term task.

In all cases, the first step is always a meeting with parents and student to begin the planning process.
