Start Your Extended Essay with Clarity and Confidence

This workshop will be led by David Wahl, the Director of Scientia, and is designed to give students a clear, confident starting point with their Extended Essay.

Students will be guided through the official IB expectations and assessment criteria, gaining a strong understanding of what makes a successful Extended Essay. A key focus will be on developing and refining a research question that is both viable and capable of producing high-quality analysis.

The session will also introduce students to effective essay structure, techniques for building depth of analysis, and subject-specific approaches.

This workshop is ideal for students who are just beginning their Extended Essay and want to set themselves up for success over the summer.
